Caribbean Cruise Lines: Carnival, Princess or Royal Caribbean?

Which cruise line should I choose? Are there any all-inclusive packages on a cruise?

Depends on what you would like to do. Carnival is traditionally a "party" cruise, younger crowd but not as elegant. Princess is a nice mid-line vacation. RCCL more high end. Great kids programs too!

can you get internet service when on royal caribbean cruises?

Yes, they all have internet areas on the ship. Usually in the centrum(lobby) on the second or third level… Hope this helps!

Caribbean honeymoon for $1000? Possible?

We really like St. John, St. Croix, and Curacao. I need that to include airfare! Anyone have ideas, please?
Funny I can find all inclusive for 1300, and camping for 700, and that’s for 7 days. Including air. We are looking for something in the middle. That doesn’t seem too far out of reach, given what I have already found.
Maybe YOU’RE the AMATEUR? LMAO Let me know if I can help YOU plan a trip.

wow…i see three zeros after the 1 not tow…and u say u want the $1000 to include airfare? hun come on now we all know that thatisnt really logical and im sure u mean airfare for two and even if u dont i doubt that very much becaues then you’d have to py for accomadation and food ect. i cant see that being a reality but call your travel agency.
Good luck.

looking for a nice island/resort for an all inclusive Caribbean vacation in feb. o9

late 40’s couples trip

We go to Punta Cana every 2 years. We stay at The Bavaro Princess All suits Resort. We book it thru applevacation.com. You would love it.The resort has the most beautiful landscape we have ever seen. The people are very friendly and go out of their way to make you happy. The beach and ocean is very clean and also beautiful. Crystal clear blue water. It is breathtaking. Lots of activities at the resort and the shows are lots of fun too. If you want you can email me at mcleanz5@aol.com and i can email you back with some pictures. We have gone to many other places and none compare to Punta Cana. If you do go we recommend the jungle safari and zip-line excursions. So much fun and it never gets old. enjoy wherever you go.

Which are the best ships in the royal Caribbean and celebrity cruises fleet?

I just came off the inaugural sailing of RCCL’s new Liberty of the Seas yesterday – she’s the sister ship to the Freedom of the Seas, the two largest passenger ships in the world. She’s a beautiful ship with everything and more than you could ask for. This is my fourth sailing with RCCL in the past two years (my wife and I are in the "Premium" level category) and I’m here to say that "bigger does not always mean better"! I find the food quality, service, menu selection (in both the dining room and for room service), and attention to detail, to be far superior on Celebrity (we are "Elite" level here). I also like the ship layouts much better on Celebrity.

Consider this – Celebrity uses a three elevator bank layout on almost all of their ships – that’s one bank forward, one mid-ships, and one aft. RCCL uses only two – one forward and one aft. So your mid ship cabins – the most desirable location on any ship – and where we just were on the Liberty – required us to walk to the forward or aft banks of elevators any time we wanted to go anywhere on board! My wife and I are in good shape, but I would not recommend the Freedom or the Liberty to anyone with health/walking issues.

However, to answer your question directly, my favorite RCCL is the Radiance of the Seas, ("known as "a ship of light" for all the glass used in her design), and by far, my favorite Celebrity ship is the Century – even more-so since her recent $55 million refurbishment!

I hope this information is helpful to you. One final word of advice, give your local travel agency a call and ask to speak with a Cruise Specialist. There’s no additional cost for their sevice and their information and advice is very valuable.
