looking for a nice island/resort for an all inclusive Caribbean vacation in feb. o9

late 40’s couples trip

We go to Punta Cana every 2 years. We stay at The Bavaro Princess All suits Resort. We book it thru applevacation.com. You would love it.The resort has the most beautiful landscape we have ever seen. The people are very friendly and go out of their way to make you happy. The beach and ocean is very clean and also beautiful. Crystal clear blue water. It is breathtaking. Lots of activities at the resort and the shows are lots of fun too. If you want you can email me at mcleanz5@aol.com and i can email you back with some pictures. We have gone to many other places and none compare to Punta Cana. If you do go we recommend the jungle safari and zip-line excursions. So much fun and it never gets old. enjoy wherever you go.

All Inclusive to trip to the Caribbean?

How much roughly would it cost for an all inclusive trip to the caribbean from toronto..

It all depends where in Caribbean.

You can try a travel agency located in Greater Toronto Area online:

http://www.redtag.ca/

They do offer some great deals and the prices are in Canadian currency.

The cheapest I could find right now for an all inclusive vacation is:

Toronto to Cienfuegos.
RANCHO LUNA 2.5 star
All Inclusive | 20 Mar 2009 | 7 Nights
$348.00 plus taxes $205.00 is the total of $553.00.

In that case you’re not sure where Cienfuegos is, it’s in Cuba (a city on the southern coast).

What is the best Caribbean all inclusive??

Hello, I’m planning a trip to the Caribbean in May. I’ve never been there so I am considering an all-inclusive. I’ve been looking at Couples Swept Away in Jamaica, the Royal Hideaway Playacar or Secrets Capri in Mexico and any of the Sandals resorts. But I have no idea which one of these to choose!?!? Can anybody help or provide suggestions??? I’m going with my girlfriend for 4 nights and am in my late 20s…looking for a laid back scene (not crazy spring break) BUT I also would like to have some type of nightlife or entertainment as well and not just go to sleep everynight at 10pm. Please help!!!

Secret Capri is a top notch resort. Secret would be my choice. You will not be going to bed at 10PM unless you want to. Here is a link to tourist reviews and photos of the resort.

Have a great time and enjoy)

Caribbean All-Inclusive Kids program?

I’m looking for a Caribbean All-Inclusive with a "real" kids program.

What I mean by "real" – someplace where parents can leave their kids alone for a few hours (ours are 8 and 6), where the supervisors are qualified/trained, where there are a viable amount of other kids participating, where the kids love the programs, can’t wait to go back, and generally prefer it to being with mom and dad. We’ve been on a lot of Royal Caribbean cruises before – that type of program is exactly what I’m talking about.

What I’m not talking about – a room with a single, generally bored, minimum wage worker, no other kids present, maybe a few board games with few-to-no organized activities or programs. A dumping ground, low end babysitting, at best.

Many resorts advertise kids programs, but it can be difficult to tell the difference from the ads.

For those that have been – which ones can you recommend?

I would recommend the Club Med programs. There are a lot of resorts throughout the world, the staff was enthusiastic, and the kids enjoyed it. My son went to the club at Punta Cana for two years, and had a blast. They have different age groups, and plan different activities for all ages, including teenagers. My son loved that they got to go out sailing, tubing, eat lunch with his friends (and not his family…though you could sign your child out for lunch if you wish).

Club Med has just spent millions of dollars revamping their hotels and programs, so they’re up to the all inclusive standards that most other resorts are at. Plus, as parents, you’ll surely enjoy yourselves too.

The Barbados Beach Club is an all inclusive resort which offers breakfast, lunch, after noon tea, dinner, unlimited drinks, an exercise room (gym), pool aerobics, snorkeling, scuba diving lessons, windsurfing, Hobie cat cruises, beach volley ball, games room, free shuttle service to and from the main town and soooo much more.
