What is the best island in the Caribbean for honeymoon/snorkeling?
Here is my list of best snorkeling places and good for honeymoons too.
St John USVI
Virgin Gorda BVI
Providencial Turks and Caico
Shoal Bay Beach Anguilla
San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize
Cozumel Mexico
My HB and I love to snorkel and we have found the above islands the best. The only place we haven't gone yet is Belize and it's on our top 5 list.

Roatan, Honduras. Luna Beach Resort. We were just there and had such a fabulous time and the snorkeling there is unbelievable. You can snorkel right off shore from the resort or the resort will take you out by boat for a small fee. The resort was awesome. The food there was pretty cheap and really fantastic. We were a ten minute walk by beach from the town nearby, West End Village, where there are tons of bars, restaurants and shopping. You can also take a water taxi from the resort for $2 U.S. to West Bay Beach which has tons of other resorts with good restaurants and the snorkeling there right from shore is unbelievable, too. We had such a fantastic, relaxing and wonderful time on Roatan. It is not commercialized so it is really laid back. You are really safe here and we did not get sick from the food at all. We drank the water at our resort because they have their own independent water supply, anywhere else on the island I would drink bottled water only. Otherwise we ate tons of fruits, vegetables and salads everywhere we went (we probably should have been more careful and usually we are more careful) and we did not get sick. I cannot recommend this resort or this island more. It is like no place you have ever been, it is a true paradise.

My husband and I snorkel everywhere we go in the caribbean. The best place for seeing lots of fish is St. Thomas and St. John USVI. You can stay at either one and snorkel at both. The fish are incredible, and there are so many of them. They are so friendly, they just bump right into you. If you like to look at the reef, then Belize is the place to go. There we saw the most beautiful reef I have ever seen. It was amazing. We have snorkeled in the bahamas, jamaica, puerto rico, dominican repulic, dominica, cayman islands, cozumel, florida, st. lucia, cancun, puerto vallarta, belize, st. thomas, and st. john and have enjoyed them all, but the USVI and Belize are no comparison to the rest. Congratulations and have a wonderful honeymoon wherever you choose.

1. Honeymoon : Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic)
2. Snorkeling/Diving : Punta Rucia ( Dominican Republic)
Of course there more good places to snorkel, but P.Rucia is one off the best in the Caribbean.
