I want to go on a caribbean vacation?
I asked this question in the travel section but wanted your input as well. I want to know what island have you gone to or you feel is the best place to vacation. How expensive do you think it will be? What websites or travel agencies are the best to book a trip with?
Cuba! But then again, if you’re from the US you wouldn’t be able to go legally. If not Cuba then either Puerto Rico or the DR — if you go to PR you don’t have to get your passport done at least.
If not one of the Spanish-speaking islands, then definitely Trinidad & Tobago, I’ve been twice and it’s my favourite West Indian island. The sites, liveliness, and weather are all breathtaking. I can’t really recommend a travel site though, since I live in Canada and our agencies are different, but look into T&T — I promise it’s worth it. If you guys have Expedia, that would be good to look into.

I’ve been to the Dominican Republic and Aruba. Both vacations were great, for different reasons. They were all inclusive, and cost under $1,400 for a week in Aruba and eleven days in the DR. My girlfriend booked both through a Russian travel agent she knew in Brooklyn, so I don’t know the name.

you can take a Cruise Line and they take you to the Western Caribbean or the Eastern Caribbean
you will have a blast
